The objective of Baccarat is to predict whose hand will be closest to a value of 9. Cards are scored as such; 2-9 are worth face value, 10's and face cards (J, Q, K) are worth zero, and Aces are worth 1 point.

Baccarat is actually very easy to play. The only choice you have to make is where to bet. Everything else is done for you by the rules of the game.

1. Play begins by all Players betting on "Banker" or "Player" or "Tie"
2. Two sets of cards consisting of two cards each are dealt - one set to the Player; one other set to the Banker.
3. The cards are dealt face down, one to the 'Player' first, then to the 'Banker'; 'Player' then 'Banker' again. This is the initial deal consisting of two cards each.
4. Both cards in each hand are then turned over and added together and the croupier calls the total.
5. Depending on the two hands, the Player and Banker may draw a single card or stand pat. The hand with the highest total wins.
6. If either the Player or the Banker achieve a total of 8 or 9 on the initial deal (known as a 'natural'), no further cards are drawn.
7. If neither player has an 8 or a 9, play proceeds as follows.

1. Value of the first 2 cards = 0-5.

1. Value of first 2 cards = 0-2, OR
2. first two cards total = 3, unless Player's total = 8
3. first two cards total = 4 Player's total = 1,8,9,0
4. first two cards total = 5 Player's total = 1,2,3,8,9,0
5. first two cards total = 6 Player's total = 1,2,3,4,5,8,9,0
6. Banker will always stand on a total of 7
7. Player will always stand on a total of 6 or 7
8. If player or the banker get a total of 8 or 9 with their first 2 cards, the game ends. This rule overrides all others.

If the player busts, he or she loses the bet even if the dealer goes on to bust.

After all the players have finished making their decisions, the dealer then reveals the hidden hole card and plays the hand. The dealer must hit until he or she has at least ***HARD OR SOFT ***17, regardless of what the players have.

If the dealer busts then all remaining players win. In this case, bets are paid out at the odds of 1:1.

Players who push (tie) with the dealer receive their original bet back.
